This article will show the solution to the most common problem regarding viewing E-Certificates
The current issue with viewing files is akin to looking at files through a clear safe, without using the key to access them. Zip files are the clear safe, and extracting the files is the key. This is the guide to use the key.
- When accessing the OA Portal to retrieve certificates - ensure you delete the existing password in the following box and replace it with the Provider Centre ID#:
- Once you have entered the correct Centre ID as the Password, click on "Get Certificate" to download the compressed (Zip) Folder.
- Locate this in your Downloads folder and right click and select "Extract all".
- Please follow the on-screen prompts to complete the extraction of the folder (this will create a new folder without the Zip image in the logo).
- Open this new folder, open the PDF document and you will be prompted for the Centre ID again before it opens.
This should present you with the E-Certificate you are looking for.
