E-Certificate Viewing Issues

This article will show the solution to the most common problem regarding viewing E-Certificates


The current issue with viewing files is akin to looking at files through a clear safe, without using the key to access them. Zip files are the clear safe, and extracting the files is the key. This is the guide to use the key.

  1. When accessing the OA Portal to retrieve certificates - ensure you delete the existing password in the following box and replace it with the Provider Centre ID#:
  2. Once you have entered the correct Centre ID as the Password, click on "Get Certificate" to download the compressed (Zip) Folder.
  3. Locate this in your Downloads folder and right click and select "Extract all".
  4.  Please follow the on-screen prompts to complete the extraction of the folder (this will create a new folder without the Zip image in the logo).
  5. Open this new folder, open the PDF document and you will be prompted for the Centre ID again before it opens. 

This should present you with the E-Certificate you are looking for.
